All dogs are different with their babies and she probably does feel that they are too exposed and would rather be somewhere where there is a roof or covering over them so she can feel secure.

I’m not trying to be a jerk here, but please get some proper training if you’re going to keep adopting/fostering pregnant animals. If you can’t, maybe after getting them out of the situation they’re in (in this case a kill shelter) take them to either a no kill shelter or to someone with proper whelping training. These animals safety and welfare is more important than Internet clout.

I just wanted to put it out there that some mothers are pretty defensive about their babies, it looks like you enjoy doing this and im sure youre going to help out more mommies in need. Just be careful with their temperament, im by no means a expert but it is a possibility so watching body language is pretty important. I have no doubt you're already doing so though since animals aren't really rocket science. I'm there's people like you doing what you do, keep it up if you've got the means man your doing good for the babies.💛💛
