4:19 I know this so here; the scientific name is sansevieria laurentii or Dracaena trifasciata or “the snake plant”

Some of those really need new pots, fresh soil and some trimming. I was shocked and horrified the first time I lifted up my Pelargonuim Capitatum and realised that the roots were so compressed that it wouldn't fit back in the pot.

4:10 Phil, that's called a snake plant. Trust me, I'm just as confused about the name as you. My mom likes collecting potted plants too (currently more than 13 plants inside the house, before that it was 20, there are more outside), I took her to a plant shopping area (imagine a mall just for plants) and chatted with a guy who said that they had a snake plant. There were stars in her eyes, bought the things and put it in the trunk of my car, and kept mentioning the snake plant "You'll like the snake plant!" When she set it up I just stared at it because it did not look like snake at all.

“You don’t want to fall eye-first into the pot.” When my friend was murdered and all her family were at my house (long story) my dad did fall eye-first into that plant and sliced his eye open and my mom had to take him to the ER while I stayed home (because more of the friend’s grieving family kept showing up)

I've got a sea grass one! Here we call them Saint George swords. The flowers smell SO GOOD. Also have the zz one, it's a really easy one to take care of, love it.
